Sourcing information: Arnulfo Leguizamo has been producing coffee since childhood. As the son of a coffee farmer, he was born into the tradition.
For the last few decades he has spent his time in San Agustin, Colombia where he grows stunning coffees on his farm, El Faldon. This lot here is comprised solely of Caturra and is grown at 1900 meters in the Andes Mountain Range.
On a recent trip to Colombia, our coffee buyer Colby Barr tasted Leguizamo’s coffee blind and fell head over heels. The concentration of flavors was unparalleled by any other coffee he had tasted on the trip, nonetheless on any trip that year.
Arnulfo Leguizamo placed 1st at the 2011 Cup of Excellence. His determination and hard work are clear reasons why his coffee is Internationally renowned as one of the best coming out of Colombia. We are so pleased to have El Faldon as a Verve Coffee Roasters Reserve offering.
