Cup Characteristics: Roast flavor, smokiness and hints of brown sugar dominate the cup.
Sourcing Information: As the season progresses, we use different selections from Central America to make up our French Roast. These coffees are dense, balanced and allow us to turn up the heat a bit.
Preparation and Recommendations: This coffee works well on all brew methods. Personal pour-overs or batch/drip brewers will yield a sturdy and roasty cup with brown sugar-like sweetness, while french presses will yield a heavy cup dominated by an exceedingly weighty mouth-feel.
